Donations for the Ferguson Family
It is with profound sadness that we inform you about a recent loss in our school community. Josh Ferguson, a father of two Eastchester students, recently passed. Josh leaves behind his wife, Adrienne, and their children, Brady (fifth grade) and Riley (first grade). Josh was active in our school community…he attended many school events and could usually be found coaching or cheering on his children’s sports teams.
Our school community has asked how we can help the Ferguson family during this difficult time. The family would be grateful for simple, kid friendly meal recipes. Greenvale and Waverly families may also donate a gift card for the meal ingredients from Whole Foods, Stew Leonards or Fresh Market. If you wish to contribute a family recipe and/or gift card to Whole Foods, Stew Leonards or Fresh Market, you may send the recipe (printed out or typed if possible) and/or gift card in an envelope marked:
Ferguson Family Donation
The PTA will collect the envelopes and deliver them to the Ferguson family. The Ferguson family is grateful for the love and support of the community.
Please keep the Ferguson family in your thoughts and prayers.
Shop for our School-Box Tops and Amazon Smile
Did you know you can earn money for our school, simply by collecting box tops on items you already buy, and shopping on amazon? Last year, we earned $1,600 collecting box tops and donations through amazon smile. Send your box tops in your child’s backpack and we will include them in our mailing. For amazon, you simply need to shop as normal through the Amazon Waverly PTA Link. Bookmark to use whenever you place your orders, and Waverly will receive a portion of every sale! The funds go into our cultural arts program. It’s that easy to contribute to our great programming.
We need volunteers to help make our events successful. If you are interested in getting involved, please visit THIS LINK to sign up!
