Dear Families,

Please join us this evening for the next event in the series of wellness events scheduled this year. This informative presentation by veteran Boise, Idaho Police Officer Jermaine Galloway, an expert in the field of adolescent drug and alcohol abuse, will take us into the “room” of a teenager and tell us about the things that he sees that may be a hint to what kids are thinking when it comes to:

-underage drinking

-drug trends

-alcohol and energy drinks

-synthetic drugs, party drugs, over-the-counter drugs, and cough medicines

-marijuana concentrates / dabbing

-popular drug culture music, phone apps and social networking sites

-inhalants, e-cigarettes and vaporizers

-fake ID’s

-alcohol and drug concealment methods

-alcohol and drug clothing, logos, and identifiers

Learn as much about the teen drug culture as many students may already know!

To read more about Mr. Galloway, please visit http://www.tallcopsaysstop.com/.  He is a nationally and internationally recognized presenter, national award winner and author. In the bat of an eye our little ones will be in double digits, so it’s best for us to prepare now. I look forward to seeing you this evening at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium.

Warmly,

Mari Doyle
